It was with great surprise and sadness that we have learned about your news.
The withdrawal of financial support to CPR from the Welsh Arts Council appears to us as a sign of a clear cultural shortsightedness. Today more than ever, our society, intended as a global community, needs people, artists, who work with the same passion and dedication with which you have been an example of for so many years.
Cultural and project work created not only with the mind but also and mostly with the heart.
It is this heart and this love that we want to defend, which is what we see reflected in your work and we feel close to our own work.
It is with the heart that we appeal to the authorities, and to all those men and women in theatre and not only, for a solution to be quickly found and to return wings to your dreams.
If beyond these lines we could be of any further support, do let us know.
