I am distressed to hear about the withdrawal of funding. This drastic measure will be strangling the efforts and progress of this centre which shares its resources and expertise with the global professional bodies in the area of arts. I earnestly hope that they will continue to providing funds and maintain the life support systems that allow arts to flourish and embellish the lives of people. Instead of stifling the voice, they will breathe life into the centre, I fervently hope.
