Dear Judy and Richard,
My name is Tanis and I am a student on the National Diploma in Performing Arts in Coleg Ceredigion. I write to you because I am very disappointed to hear of the Arts Council of Wales decision to cut funds to CPR. The Centre for Performance Research has been a massive help to me in my development as a performer. When I was expelled from school, It was recommended I take part in the summer shift, I did a week long intensive workshop with Frank Theatre which I really enjoyed. I have been on the Summer Shift every year since. The level of training and experience I get is amazing and has developed my ability hugely. I always look forward to who they book. The centre was a future prospect for me and without centre for performance research I will have to leave Wales to pursue my training and future career.
