Mark Johnson

Dear Judie and Richard -

I too am very saddened that CPR is facing decreased Arts Council funding. I know that I haven't seen either of you for many years, but that is certainly not because I haven'twanted to! The fact is that during the '90's I received so much knowledge and inspirationfrom CPR and the contacts I made through CPR that I now am unfortunately too busy with my own company to do much else, i.e. attend CPR events. For example: during the "GivingVoice Conference", I'll be busy working on two shows for this summer's Edinburgh Fringe.Every CPR conference or workshop that I ever attended was a very special event that I shall remember always. Impeccably organized and "user friendly", CPR events are by far the most impressive professional meetings I've ever attended. I only hope that CPR will be able to continue to produce the same high quality conferences, workshops, and performances that they've been able to do in the past. Once I'm able to retire from my teaching job and have more available time, I definitely plan to once again regularly attend CPR conferences!

My very best wishes to all,
Mark Johnson
