Dear Richard,

I am astounded at the news that you are being threatened with cuts in funding. My participation as assistant teacher to Enrique Pardo during the Pantheatre workshops at the Giving Voice festival introduced me to only a small part of the important work that is being done by CPR in the field of performance research and the Voice.

CPR is acknowledged internationally as a Mecca for contemporary performance research. I wonder what more the Arts Council could possibly expect from you before recognizing the value of your work - and supporting it fully.
